What to Expect in a Free 15-Minute Consultation

A 15-minute consultation is a brief opportunity for us to connect, discuss what brings you to therapy, and determine whether working together may be a good fit.

What will we talk about?

During the consultation, I’ll ask a few questions to better understand:

  • What you’re currently experiencing or finding challenging

  • What you would like to improve or change

  • What strengths we can leverage (e.g., experiences, skills, social support, etc.)

  • What you hope to get out of therapy

  • Why making this change feels important to you right now

  • Any questions or concerns you have about the therapy process

The goal is not to solve everything during the consultation. Instead, it is to develop an initial understanding of what is going on, what you are hoping to work toward, and whether my approach and experience align with your needs.

What happens next?

If it seems like we may be a good fit, we can discuss booking an initial assessment. The assessment provides more time to explore your concerns, goals, relevant history, and the factors that may be contributing to what you are experiencing.

There is no expectation that you have everything figured out before the consultation. You only need to bring a general sense of what you would like support with—we can work together to clarify the rest.
